The development has been named the Yunfu High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, with boundaries extending east to East 1st Road, south to the foot of Lianzhouwei Hill near the Chucheng Village Committee in Hekou Street, west to the Heyang Highway and Hongguang Road, and north to the Guangwu Expressway.The Development Zone is located 140 kilometers from Guangzhou and is a 20-minute drive from the city center. It is also the site of the new urban area and the future new administrative center, offering the advantage of interactive development with the new city of a prefecture-level city. The zone is surrounded by lush forests and rivers, boasting an excellent ecological environment, and embodies the full range of Yunfu’s geographical and natural advantages.The Development Zone is situated along the Xijiang River, adjacent to high-speed rail lines, and connected to expressways, featuring a dense network of water and land transportation. It serves as a convergence point for waterways, roads, expressways, railways, and high-speed rail. 3,000-ton cargo ships can reach the zone directly via the Xijiang waterway, while the Guangwu Expressway, Sanmao Railway, National Highway 324, Nanguang High-Speed Railway (under construction), and the planned Shanzhan Expressway all traverse the zone.Once the Nanguang High-Speed Railway opens, the journey from Guangzhou to the park will take only 30 minutes, fully integrating Yunfu into the “Pearl River Delta 1-Hour Core Economic and Living Circle.”
