The Longyan High-Tech Industrial Development Zone is a provincial-level high-tech zone officially approved by the People’s Government of Fujian Province for establishment in Longyan. The zone spans three counties and districts—Changting, Yongding, and Xinluo—with a planned area of 132.9 square kilometers.
The initial development zone is the Fujian Changting Economic Development Zone, with an approved area of 2 square kilometers; the expansion zone covers parts of five townships—Dongxiao and Hongfang in Xinluo District, and Gaobei, Kanshi, and Peifeng in Yongding County—with an approved area of 130.9 square kilometers.
