The Miyun Economic Development Zone is located in the southwestern part of Miyun District, bordered by the Beijing-Chengde Expressway to the south, National Highway 101 to the north, Huairou District to the west, and Miyun County to the east. A 10,000-mu forest park runs through the zone. With the opening of the Beijing-Chengde Expressway, the Miyun Economic Development Zone has become part of Beijing’s half-hour economic zone.
