Park Overview
The Chizhou Economic and Technological Development Zone in Anhui Province was established in 1992. It was approved as a provincial-level economic and technological development zone by the provincial government in 1995 and designated as a national-level economic and technological development zone by the State Council on June 29, 2011. It has been recognized as one of the “Top 100 National Demonstration Zones for Scientific Development,” one of the “Top 10 Development Zones in Anhui Province for Investment Environment,” the “Best Investment Development Zone for Zhejiang Businessmen,” and the “Most Investment-Worthy Development Zone Nationwide for Jiangsu Businessmen.”The Development Zone is located northeast of Chizhou’s main urban area. Its total planned control area spans 115 square kilometers, divided into the Eastern Park and the Western Expansion Zone. The Eastern Park has a planned control area of 40 square kilometers, with a planned construction area of 30 square kilometers. The zone boasts 20 kilometers of Yangtze River shoreline and features a Class I national open port capable of accommodating 10,000-ton vessels year-round, making it an ecological park that integrates green development with industry.According to the official website, more than 300 enterprises have settled in the Eastern Park, including over 80 enterprises above a certain scale. The Western Expansion Zone has a total construction land area of approximately 75 square kilometers, with the initial development area covering 15 square kilometers.
