Government Overview
Located in the heart of Huai'an City, the Huai'an Industrial Park borders the Science and Education Industrial Park to the north, the Baima Lake Tourism and Resort Area to the south, the Eco-Culture and Tourism Zone to the east, and Hongze Lake to the west. As a provincial-level development zone directly administered by the Huai'an Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government, construction began in September 2008.In June 2020, the Huai’an Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government decided to optimize and integrate their directly administered development platforms, incorporating the former Jiangsu Suhai High-Tech Industrial Development Zone into the management and operations of the Jiangsu Huai’an Industrial Park. The park currently has an actual jurisdiction of 85.5 square kilometers, of which 24.58 square kilometers are dedicated to the chemical industry. It is the only industrial park in Jiangsu Province built by leveraging local resource advantages.
The park offers convenient transportation, comprehensive supporting facilities, a beautiful environment, and efficient services. It has established a comprehensive industrial system centered on two leading sectors—salt-based new materials and new energy vehicles and components—with the coordinated development of production-oriented services. It is an ideal location for enterprises to invest, establish operations, and grow.
