Chengdu International Medical City is located within the Modern Service Industry Park in Wenjiang District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is adjacent to the High-Tech West Zone and Qingyang District, with the Qingshui River flowing through the area and the “198” Ecological Green Belt running through it. The Medical City centers its industrial development around healthcare, leverages health tourism as a driving force, and supports these sectors with health-related business services.It is currently the largest and most comprehensively equipped modern medical and health industry park in Asia. Chengdu International Medical City is situated in Yongning Town, Wenjiang District, in western Chengdu. It borders Shuangliu County and Qingyang District to the east, Wenjiang New City, Yufu Guodu Hot Spring Hotel, and Jinma Tourism Development Zone to the south, Dujiangyan to the west, and Pi County and Chengdu High-Tech Zone to the north.It is approximately 8 kilometers from the city center, 16 kilometers from Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, and 18 kilometers from Chengdu North Railway Station. It serves as a globally oriented biomedical technology transformation center, a nationally leading innovation and entrepreneurship base for the new medical industry, and the largest full-chain biomedical industrial cluster in Southwest China, with core concepts centered on the “integration of the three medical sectors” (pharmaceuticals, medicine, and healthcare) and the “cross-sectoral integration” of Internet+biomedical technology.
