The Leling Economic Development Zone is a provincial-level development zone established with the approval of the Shandong Provincial People’s Government. Located in the northeastern part of the urban area, construction began in February 2000, with a total planned area of 15.75 square kilometers. The development zone features well-developed infrastructure.It houses a telecommunications branch with a capacity of 50,000 lines, offering digital telephone services, mobile phones, wireless paging, and domestic and international connectivity. The zone features a 110,000-volt substation, ensuring ample power supply and a comprehensive power grid. Additionally, there is a water treatment plant with a daily capacity of 20,000 cubic meters, and an underground hot spring within the zone, which together meet the production and daily living needs of the area.Cultural, recreational, and daily living service facilities are fully equipped. Since its establishment several years ago, the development zone has attracted domestic and international investors from South Korea, Germany, Taiwan, Tianjin, Wenzhou, and elsewhere with its excellent investment environment. Currently, 80 enterprises have been approved to operate in the zone, with a total project investment of 7.6 billion yuan, covering industries such as brake pads, high-end textiles, jujube products, wood products, biochemistry, and construction materials.
