Park Overview
The Chaoyang Lingyuan Economic Development Zone is located at the junction of Liaoning, Hebei, and Inner Mongolia. It serves as a strategic hub for the northern corridor of the Liaoning Coastal Economic Belt and the Western Liaoning Corridor, and acts as the interface between the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Economic Zone and the Northeast Economic Zone within the Bohai Rim Economic Circle. With a distance of 400 kilometers from Shenyang, 370 kilometers from Beijing, and 180 kilometers from Chifeng City in Inner Mongolia, the zone enjoys significant geographical advantages. The development zone also enjoys highly convenient maritime and air transport links, with nearby ports and airports in Liaoning and Hebei provinces readily available for use. Specifically, it is 200 kilometers from Jinzhou Port, 280 kilometers from Qinhuangdao Port, and 100 kilometers from Chaoyang Airport.
The new Chaoyang Lingyuan Economic Development Zone is located in the northern part of Lingyuan City and administers three subdistricts (Xingyuan, Lingbei, and Hongshan) and one town (Wanyuandian), comprising 15 administrative villages and 12 communities. The zone’s current planned area is 14.6 square kilometers, divided into three major functional zones: an industrial park, a logistics park, and a residential service area. The initial development zone is the former Lingyuan City Industrial Park, covering an area of 3.18 square kilometers.Currently, the zone has established a framework comprising three major pillar industries and clusters: automotive equipment manufacturing and parts processing, advanced steel processing, and precision glass processing. Among these, the automotive industry cluster has been designated as a provincial-level industrial cluster.
